The term globalization refers to the increased mobility of goods, services, labor, technology and capital throughout the world. While not a new development, this process has increased dramatically with the advent of new technologies, most notably in the area of telecommunications. In fact, the growing interaction which globalization is facilitating continues to revolutionize the international system.
